9 cups Rice Chex®
9 cups Corn Chex®
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (mini chips melt best)
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup butter
2 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups powdered sugar
Into a huge bowl, measure cereal; set aside.
In microwaveable bowl, heat chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter uncovered on High 1 minute; stir. Microwave about 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into kitchen-size plastic garbage bag.
Add powdered sugar. Leaving a generous balloon of air inside, twist opening closed and hold tightly; shake until Chex are well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Return to giant bowl and use reunion cups to scoop portions for everyone! 🙂
Store leftovers in airtight container in refrigerator.
