I’ve seen similar recipes referred to as “Sunrise Dip,” but this one is my favorite. A friend asked me to make it for her daughter’s bridal shower – it has been a family tradition of theirs since her kids were little. Now it is a favorite in my house as well!
16 oz cream cheese, softened
12-16 oz salsa
1-2 C cheddar cheese, shredded
tortilla chips
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F. Spread cream cheese over the bottom of a pie plate or other shallow oven-proof dish. Spread salsa evenly over cream cheese, then top with cheddar. Bake 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve with tortilla chips for dipping.
Time to make: 30 minutes
