Cinnamon Spice French Toast

Spice cake meets french toast in this delicious creation of Rachel’s.

3 eggs
a splash of milk
sprinkle of sugar and salt
all-spice
ground cloves
nutmeg
a tiny dash of ginger
several shakes of cinnamon
1 tsp GOOD vanilla*
8 pieces of bread

*Rachel recommends Blue Cattle Truck vanilla.

Combine eggs, milk, spices, and vanilla in a shallow container, like a pie plate. Mix with a fork until eggs and spices are well incorporated. Heat griddle, grease or butter the surface, dip bread in egg mixture to coat both sides and cook on griddle, turning once. Serve with butter & syrup.

Yields: 8 pieces of toast
