French Silk Pie

1 C sugar
¾ C softened REAL butter
3 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
1½ tsp vanilla
3 eggs
Baked pie shell
Whipping cream & chocolate curls for garnish (optional)

Cream butter and sugar about 4 minutes, until fluffy. Blend in cooled chocolate and vanilla. Add eggs one at a time, beating on medium speed, scraping bowl sides constantly. Spread into pie shell and chill several hours or over night. Garnish with whipping cream and chocolate curls.

Yields: 6-8 servings

Time to make: overnight
