½ C margarine, melted
1 C sugar
1 C corn syrup
4 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
¼ tsp salt
unbaked pie shell
~1¼ C pecan pieces
Preheat oven to 325°F. Combine margarine, sugar, and corn syrup in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently, until sugar dissolves. Allow to cool slightly.
Add beaten eggs, vanilla, and salt. Mix well. Stir in pecan pieces. Pour into pie shell. Bake for about 50 minutes.
Yields: 6-8 servings
Time to make: about 1 hour
