bone-in pork butt
4oz liquid smoke
1/2 c brown sugar
salt – about 2 – 3 tablespoons
water
Place pork butt in roaster or crock pot. Sprinkle brown sugar & salt over, then pour liquid smoke on top. Add water to come 1/2 way up the pork butt. Cover & cook at 225-250 for about 6 hours.
4 large chicken thighs can be used in place of the pork.
