Sesame Seed Vinaigrette

When Jim & Angie first moved to California, with both sets of parents in town, Pam & Tom Dozier joined them for dinner on a blustery Sunday evening and brought a sweet spinach salad with this fantastic dressing. As an old friend of the Hoffman family, Pam agreed to share her recipe with us.

½ c. sugar
2 Tbsp. Sesame seeds
1½ tsp onion, minced
¼ tsp Worcestershire sauce
¼ tsp Paprika
½ c extra virgin olive oil
¼ c apple cider vinegar

Combine all ingredients in a jar or dressing bottle and shake to mix. Add salad dressing to a sweet salad right before serving and gently toss. Store leftover dressing in the refrigerator.

Yields: nearly 2 cups

Time to make: 5 min
